What We Do
CD/DVD
ICS can now provide your video in the DVD-Video format. In addition, we can provide DVD-R duplications of those same productions as well as authored DVD productions, music CDs, and data CDs.
Communication Campaign
ICS consults on all types of promotional and educational campaigns, special events and programs, planning and design services, projects going to outside vendors, and Internet campaigns. ICS plans and supports the UF/IFAS institutional identity and branding campaign, advising and assisting you with all products and projects.
Extension Bookstore
Educational resources resulting from the collaboration of research scientists and educators from the UF campus, sixteen Research and Education Centers and sixty-seven Cooperative Extension Service offices. These resources are available for purchase at http://www.ifasbooks.ufl.edu/.
Graphic Design
The ICS Graphic Design Department offers design services and production for a wide range of electronic, print and multimedia publications and media and marketing campaigns. Working from content you provide, we will design and produce full-color artwork for any type of publication you need.
Identity Products
The IFAS/Extension Bookstore provides a variety of UF/IFAS identity products for purchase. The UF/IFAS brand is found on shirts, hats, bags, notepads, and other supplies that are perfect for promotional use. These products make ideal gifts for anyone. Instructional Design
Our instructional designers work with faculty to develop or adapt courses for delivery in various distance education formats, including Web-based, CD or DVD, and videoconferencing. We advise instructors on the most effective ways to organize and present their content to distance education students.
News
ICS news develops and markets print and video news stories about statewide IFAS teaching, research and extension programs to the Associated Press and other state, national and international print and broadcast media. We develop other products, including magazines, print and electronic newsletters, and annual reports and brochures. UF/IFAS news releases are posted at http://news.ifas.ufl.edu.
Photography
The ICS Photography Department offers photography for news media and magazines, and printed materials such as brochures, books, and slide shows. Services are free to UF/IFAS personnel. Consulting, display photos, news and special event photography, portrait and passport photos, prints, PowerPoint slides.
Posters/Exhibits
Working from content you provide, the Graphic Design department will design, create and print full-color posters and displays. We can also print artwork you provide. We have two full-color plotter printers, with widths of 36" and 42", and laminators that match in size.
Printing/Copying
ICS provides customers with a range of copy and print services. We deliver top-quality products in color and black and white printed on copiers or offset press. ICS also provides Electronic Data Information Source (EDIS) copies. Call (352) 392-2411 for price quotes.
Publication Consulting
ICS provides a range of publication consulting services to UF/IFAS faculty and staff, including (free to UF/IFAS) one-stop shopping and planning for electronic and print publications, promotional projects, and other publications. Additionally, editors and graphic designers are available to serve faculty publication and EDIS needs.
Video
Staff members in the ICS educational-video area working with broadcast-grade technology produce instructional and promotional videos, programming, public service announcements and coordinate and contribute to the video news effort. The video staff members provide support for distance education projects and to radio programming.
